As some of you might have noticed (or probably forgot about since it was a while ago and I've been kind of quiet on this site) I haven't drawn my winter pic yet nor sent out postcards! I'm terribly sorry for that as I've been slammed with work these past 3 months as well as getting a new fulltime job recently. But while I'm still doing some freelance on the side, the big project that has been taking up most of my time outside of Gaia work is coming to an end so I'll be having more time! Hopefully you'll be getting postcards in April!
I'll likely be posting previews and sketches on my tumblr: [link]
I've added my Journey print to my storenvy for those that have been interested!

Ack I'm late! What a way to start off 2013, though I spent New Years Eve and Day socializing and working like mad to make sure I -wasn't- late on my deadlines. There was not much sleep to be had..
I hope you all had a good start to 2013! I don't do resolutions but there is some things I would like to address in 2013, mostly on getting more art done! Period. Being more involved with Milizia would be awesome too (I miss you guys) but I can't much guarantee things.
Looking back on 2012 I really don't post here too often besides finished works. If you want to see doodles, sketches, along with my thoughts and rambles (usually about my OCs), that can be found on my tumblr! You're always free to ask me questions here, but you can there as well!
As a thank you to my friends and watchers, I'd like to offer you all a winter card! Now I call it a winter card as my longtime fans might know, I tend to be notoriously late with my annual Christmas image, so I just call it 'winter' as you'll get it sometime then XD These are limited in quantity, first come first serve.
Today's a special day for me and it's been a really fantastic year. I've made a great number of new friends, many of whom are so talented and kind-hearted and I don't even know why they'd want to be friends with me. Have made strides forward in my career.
A lot of that has to do with you guys so I wanted to give a little back with a giveaway of a whole load of prints, many of my favorite pieces! <33
10+ high quality, letter size prints on glossy photo paper!
I have the giveaway going on tumblr: [link] But you can enter here by just leaving a comment to be entered :3 Ends at the end of today!
NDK was mindblowingly amazing! Best year yet! Thank you all that came by my table to just say hi or get something, I really appreciate it. You all kept me wonderfully busy the two days I was there. Thanks for making my last con of the year of memorable one!
I sold out of a lot of stuff at NDK and many people have expressed still wanting stuff. You can check out my Storenvy [link] for that, though it might take a few weeks to fill out orders as I restock!
Unfortunately there won't be too much new art from me as I'll be really busy with my current work and freelance projects but I'll try to post stuff when I can!
I had not mentioned this before, out of respect for those involved since they wanted to solve it quietly and professionally, but I was utterly livid at Otakon due to how the AA staff had mistreated my friends. This goes beyond just enforcing rules but humiliating a person in a way they never should be.
I HIGHlY encourage you to read the entire post whether you're an artist, but also if you're an attendee. This is your convention, you should know what the staff are doing to people. From Zimmay: [link] From Finni: [link]
TL;DR - Finni and I went to Otakon's Artist Alley and did our best to follow all of their rules. When the staff said we were breaking their fanart rule we followed their instruction despite our confusion. Finni asked them how we were breaking the rules and what we could do to fix it, and received no answer. As punishment for asking for clarification, the head of Otakon's AA privately threatened me over and over with banishment from the Alley. This man has thoroughly abused his staff power on several occasions, and this was only one of them. Despite calm and professional communication with Otakorp on this matter, the convention has only resolved to revise their rules. Again.
If you have been mistreated by AA staff, please let Finni or Missy know. They can help you get in contact with Otakorp.

One day left! Thank you so much so far guys!
A friend of mine is in dire need of money to help pay for college. I'm sure many of us can sympathize with such. Happy Chinese New Year everyone! I didn't post a Happy New Year post before so taking the opportunity to do one now ; v ; I have you all have a prosperous year!
Can't remember if I've said this explicitly but I've moved to Taiwan since last August, studying and working. So life's been pretty different in good ways and not so good ways. I miss my friends, especially as they don't come online much, but I've very happy to make new ones too. I miss familiar foods and feel limited by my illiteracy and vocab on what I can get done. But the food here is amazing and my relatives are kind to help me. I will probably starve to death once I get back to the US haha. I'm trying t think of ways to keep up my mandarin practice once I get back to the US too. I don't live in a large asian community so there won't be many opportunities to speak it. Also since I'm in Taiwan, I'm learning traditional characters and not Simplified. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to find some kind of fandom I like here so I can at least try to interact that way.
I also joined my first rp group here on DA! and it's been really really awesome. I'm so happy to have met the people I have there, and apparently even ran into some before at Otakon and didn't even know it! ( we are SO meeting up next Otakon!! ) Thanks for the fun times guys~
And thanks to everyone for their support on DA. I'll try to get more art done for you guys to see this next year~ <3
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS everyone! I hope you're all have a wonderful time no matter how/whether or not you celebrate this time of year! This is my first time spending Christmas in a country that doesn't really celebrate it so it's definitely a different experience :3
Oh gosh, thank you for the subscription~!! So generous! ; A ;
